Why We Built Playmat Studio

We started Rubicon Game Supplies because we love this hobby, and we kept hearing the same thing from players: they wanted a playmat that actually felt like theirs, but designing one seemed like more trouble than it was worth.

So we built Playmat Studio to make that easy. Because your playmat should look the way you want it to: your favorite art, your team's colors, or a layout built around exactly how you play. And you shouldn't need design software or be a graphic designer to get there.

We built it for three simple reasons:

You shouldn't need to be a designer: Just upload your art, or start from a layout built for your game, and you're already most of the way there.
Your mat should match how you actually play: Apply zone layouts for dozens of trading card games, so everything lines up the way you expect.
What you see should be what you get: No surprises when it arrives. If it looks right on screen, it prints right too.

Playmat Studio is free to use, and it's ours from start to finish. We built the tool, and we print and ship the mat.

How Can I Use It?

The editor can be found in two places:

On our custom playmats, desk mats, board game mats, or wargaming mats pages. Upload your image, link to one, or start with a solid color or design, then add to cart!
As a standalone site at PlaymatStudio.com. Once you create your mat, you can download it, share the link, or get it printed directly from there.
