What artwork can I upload?
Any photo, logo or artwork you own or have permission to print. Use the highest-resolution file you have: at least 150 DPI at print size, with 300 DPI recommended. Your art should cover a 1/4" bleed around the edge, and anything important should stay at least 3/4" from the edge. Playmat Studio shows the bleed and safe areas as you design.
What size playmat should I get?
The 24" x 14" mat is the standard size for most card games. The 28" x 14" adds width, the 28" x 16" adds depth for board games and big board states, and the 28" x 24" covers the table for two players. The size guide shows each one to scale.
What is the difference between the edge options?
The 24" x 14" and 28" x 14" mats come with clear stitched, black stitched or unstitched edges. Stitching wraps the edge in thread and helps stop fraying. The 28" x 16", two-player, reflective and double-sided mats come with clear stitched edges.
What are the reflective and double-sided mats?
The reflective 24" x 14" mat has a shimmering surface that catches the light. The double-sided 24" x 14" mat has your art on both sides, so it has no non-slip rubber base. Both come with clear stitched edges.
Can I add game zones or card spaces to my design?
Yes. Your design can include anything you like, such as zones, card outlines or a life counter, as long as you own the artwork or have permission to print it. Keep zones inside the safe area so nothing gets trimmed.
How long does shipping take?
Custom mats are printed to order. Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days, then ship with tracking from New Jersey, USA. Shipping is free on orders of $75 or more.
Can I order mats for my team, club or store?
Yes, there's no minimum order and orders of 5 or more mats get volume pricing, starting at 10% off. See bulk orders for details or to request a quote.
